Korea tortilla recipe vegetables?
When we were in Seoul, would receive as a side dish of these pancakes. We never know their name or any of the specific ingredients. The pancakes were thin and dense – Kinda pancake "-like. Not very high, perhaps as round as saucers. The main vegetable, I * think * was a shallot into thin long strips. Oh! And the pancakes are served hot and not fried, crispy. Does anyone know what food is? Is there a recipe? I google'd in vain. I really appreciate your help! All the best – Cindy
Vegetable Crepes are a standard offering on the table in Korea. This is particularly favorite in fact very green onions whole. He served as a meal, an appetizer or snack. Onions to tender, the small green wire (p'a SIL), is better for this recipe, but regular green onions are acceptable. Green Onion Pancakes – P'ajon For 4 people – 20 minutes to prepare and cook the onion 1 pound small or on some medium green, white and pale green only, cut into 7-inch 1 cup all purpose flour 1 cup water ice cold dash of salt Pinch of pepper freshly ground black 3 tablespoons vegetable oil 2 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped finely chopped 1 red pepper to Korea or ¼ red pepper, seeded and diced koch'u pinch deribbed SIL (son of red pepper) or red pepper flakes, green onions Wash and dry with a towel. Book of four pieces for garnish. To make the dough in a refrigerated container, combine flour and ice water and mix gently with a wooden spoon. Season with salt and pepper. In a foundry or a large nonstick skillet, heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it begins to smoke. Working quickly, Add half the onion to the pan and, using a spatula, form them into a rectangular shape, about 7 inches square. Add half the pepper, red pepper and koch'u sil. Quickly spoon half the mixture over the green onions, spreading the mixture evenly between them and the maintenance of a rectangular shape, as much as possible. With a spatula, flatten slightly onions green. Cook for 1 ½ minutes until the edges turn golden brown and crispy pancakes. Shake the pan to loosen cake. Turn over and add 1 / 2 tablespoon vegetable oil for frying. The spatula, flatten and shape the tortilla, making it as thin as possible to cook for 2 minutes. Flip and cook for 1 minute to restore the sharpness. Slide the crepe finish on a bamboo tray. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Transfer pancakes as a cutting board and cut into small pieces. To serve, Place the pancakes in 4 individual dishes. Garnish each piece with 1 piece of green onion reserved. Serve hot as an appetizer or dish with vinegar or soy sauce sauce allspice, or both in a bowl of salsa sauce. Enjoy! ~ – ~
